True Heroes Racing are a unique motorcycle race team in that they are the UK’s first and only motorcycle race team that’s dedicated to supporting Wounded, Injured and Sick UK Service personnel & Veterans. They also happen to be one of the friendliest teams in the British Superbike paddock to boot!
Vmoto Soco have provided the True Heroes management team and riders two CUx electric scooters to use to get about in the BSB paddock for the past couple of years. We are proud to announce that we are further expanding our partnership with True Heroes.
For 2023 True Heroes Racing will be going 100% electric when it comes to their paddock transport. With the support of Vmoto Super Soco, True Heroes Racing will not only have the use of their existing CUx electric scooters, but we will also be replacing their three petrol scooters that their mechanics use to transport essential equipment around with three all-electric CPx scooters (as used by Ducati Corse in MotoGP and Aruba.it Racing in WorldSBK), becoming the first multi-rider, multi-championship team in the BSB paddock to go all electric offsetting some of their carbon footprint at BSB race events.
True Heroes Racing Founder and Team Principal Phil Spencer: “The close relationship we have built up with Andy Fenwick and the whole Vmoto Super Soco UK team over the last few years has been great. It’s been brilliant to watch as the brand has grown and the whole True Heroes Racing team can now benefit from the use of their industry leading electric scooters at BSB race events. But our relationship with them goes beyond that. The employment opportunity offered to one of our beneficiaries in 2021 was the final piece of the jigsaw that enabled him to really change his life outside the Military for the better and hopefully more opportunities will follow as Vmoto Super Soco UK continues to grow.
The support of Vmoto Super Soco UK is assisting Wounded, Injured and Sick UK Service personnel & Veterans in all aspects of our activities. It was great to be able to cement this increased support with Andy at the recent Motorcycle Live show and enable True Heroes Racing to break new ground again in the motorcycle racing world, this time, in a small way, for the better of the wider environment.”
