Questionable weather made for some fantastic racing at the Thruxton round of the British Superbike Championship.

There may have been some questionable weather at times, but nonetheless there was some fantastic racing for the Super Soco sponsored riders over the weekend at Thruxton for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the supporting classes.

Chrissy Rouse and Liam Delves both delivered and came away from the challenging conditions with well-deserved podiums in the National Superstock and Junior Superstock races.

Tommy Bridewell fought some hard battles in constantly changing conditions for the Oxford Products Moto Rapido team in the Superbike class, coming away with a top 10 finish in one of the races. It builds on a strong start to the season for the Ducati rider, who’s currently running at 5th in the overall standings.

Harrison Mackay at Thruxton BSB

Young Harrison Mackay had a fantastic race in the Honda British Talent Cup. The True Heroes Racing rider started 22nd and fought his way up to finish in 15th position, proving that this young gun has got a lot of fight in him with a promising racing future.

James Bull also enjoyed several hard-fought battles in the Junior Superstock race, setting his fastest time of 1:21 at the Andover circuit and finishing in 25th before the rain came and ended the race early.

The next round sees the riders heading to the famous Donnington Park for the second time this season on August 13-15. We can’t wait to see some more action!
